Pepita Stonor : Founder

Pepita Stonor Coggi

Pepita Stonor’s MSc degree in Applied Positive Psychology researched student views on UK secondary school well-being programmes and their efficacy. This research set out to explore a deeper understanding of what affects an individual’s well-being and achieve an understanding of the wider context of the learning environment including home, community and school.

The exploratory research indicated that students did not believe that school well-being programmes delivered adequate well-being and mental health information or support, and that students felt ill-prepared for life after school.

Recognising the importance of preventing or addressing mental health issues early, the Founder developed the vision to blend cutting edge and fun user-driven technology, with applied positive psychology tools to help children develop psychological well-being and resilience.
